Not quite. The travel expense is deducted (along with other costs like stewarding) before the gate receipts are split

Yep, so wouldn't have mattered who was at home, though should benefit both as Chorley average a few more.

Just hope our fixture against Whitby away is in September like last season again...

I remember Chorley playing Glossop NE away in the FA Cup Preliminary some years ago when I used to drive the team bus and I got a cheque from GNE for the cost of the coach, which is, as oftenscore says, deducted before the split.
