Who's everyone backing to win the Euros, and what's the opinions so far on the teams, the Dutch Look terrible, Greeks look about as good as their banks, Poland and Ukraine will run out of steam imo, But I think my £100 on Germany to win the Tournament looks a good bet right now, but it would be foolish to rule the Spaniards out yet, they will improve if they actually play a striker. As long as the French don't win it, Happy Days.

I knew i should have a side bet on the Russians to have most arrests !!

Seen Very little of the tournament (Haven't even see a full match  ). But from the little I have seen the Germans look the team to beat.

That's what happens mate when you take up a sport that involves hitting a ball with a stick, then standing around for hours on end chasing a ball around like a Yorkshire Terrier, but i know why, it's all that drinking Tea and eating scones at the intervals !!

A sport is only worth playing if you stop for a Buffet halfway through

Edit: Spelling mistake

I was singing Russia's praises as the dark horses of the competition, then the lazy, stupid hat wearing b*stards went and slacked against the Poles.

Was thinking the same foxi but they didn't seem to like having to put the graft in. I expect them to cruise past Greece though.

Don't think there has been a game I haven't enjoyed yet apart from Germany-Portugal. Germany as expected look a class apart in their division. Holland making life hard for themselves but I have a sneaky feeling they will qualify on goal difference. Spain having another slow start but I think they will have a very hard job to win it again. Quite happy with Englands performance. We've not done well playing attacking football in recent history so I think this change will suit us. If we can beat Sweden i'm optimistic we can top the group.

My opinion of the Euros is that it was a good fiscal idea in the first instance but now I think it's a flawed currency - bring back schillings & pfennigs
