Trust me, we're all miffed about it re: grass bankings. But it's an FA ruling that wasn't enforced before this season. Apparantly, if the slope is more than 10º then it mustn't be used.

In regards to the weather, it's going to be -1ºC on the Saturday morning. When this happens, it usually doesn't thaw in front of the stand being south facing, so it's unlikely it'll be on. Chester's forum says an inspection at 9;30am but nothing official given from the Chorley side yet.

As Chorleyclaret says its -1 Friday night, but the latest forecast/weather warning is snow for most of the west side of the country on Saturday afternoon/evening, drifting over to the east on Sunday. I would think if that is the case, us on the west side, Cumbria, Northwest and North Wales might just get a game on. Fingers crossed.

Are you trying to say that Chorley HAVEN'T had money in the past?
And when the club have had money, to terrace that side of the ground wouldn't have exactly cost an arm and leg, we're not talking about the renovation of the whole of Victory Park.

To terrace both bankings you are looking in excess off £100,000!

It would be cheaper to remove both bankings completely.

Anybody got a digger that does 'mates rates' ??

I think it's a formality but no one wants to call the game off, then it's ok tomorrow (highly unlikely granted).

I've got a pub crawl round Clitheroe pencilled in already. :P

Yes we do need to swap recipies, but will have to on here as I am still in plaster up to my knee mate, since breaking my ankle in December, the problem is that I can't keep my toes warm, haven't been over the door all week, totally pi$$ed off tbh!!

Bolton are at home. But that's policed by GM rather than Lancs Constabulary.

Ah right fair enough. Two huge games for us then in April. The switch certainly makes this an even bigger game than it was.
