Swampy Donkeys deserved to lose tongt at Frickers , kick and no hope they played all night , well done frickers shame the scoreline wasn't more . Heard the Bucks after leading at half tym granthugs was the better team , until ludlam ball over the top to hardy to make it 3-1 ended all hopes of a comeback from granthugs ended 5-1 and go up 2 9th in these early stages , just hope we can make 3 wins in a row at blyth on Saturday up the super bucks down with swampy donkeys and frickers keep it up u can upset a few teams this season !!

Evo Sticky North here we come, but by a miracle go us!!

Really thought Carl Mc was the man for the job, and I suppose you have to give your new Manager half a chance as we are only weeks into the new season. However, some of the new signings are Vauxhall Motor's ex players, that played for Carl at Conference North level, even tho' they were competing at the bottom of the table, asking a player to step down could have a psychological effect, for eg., a bit more physical, not being able to 'play' the ball?

I have no doubt, asking players to drop a level has an impact. I am very disappointed in the start to the new season, thought once the Lynch/Brazier pact had gone there would have been a massive improvement, obviously not. We live in hope, but cannot realistically see a win unless some major signings are in place or planned for the immediate future.

Well we beat a very poor Stamford tonight and I would love to no how they are top of the league?

I see FC utd are moving up the league, under the rader of most teams.

Poor start by them

A superb 2nd half by Witton after a fairly even first 45, how we only scored twice il never know but hopefully Sheehan will be given the managers job as he knows the club inside out and will carry on where Pritch left off.
Cant wait for Saturday now, I like going to Barwell for great beer and burgers and if we play like we did last night we will get another 3 pts as we also sneak up the table undetected!

A very enjoyable (more so for a neutral I'd have thought) 3-3 draw at Trafford. Two teams playing some very good passing football, as the cliche goes, a real advert for the league.

And another top away day at Shawe View. Free beer for everyone in attendance and the usual friendly faces. Great stuff.

(Ran out of pies though)

Skem v Ashton; pretty much mirrored last season's clash - close affair that finished 1-1, Ashton led then got pegged back, Skem got a penalty (although they missed last season)... good point in the end against a team going well.

Totally agree with that Robin a fair result for both of us, thought Ashton played really well and out muscled us at times, you've got some lanky lads that's for sure, we gave it a good go in the last 10 -15 mins. I would have to say Ashton won the game on points.
