I will certainly try that out over my Lamb chops tomorrow.

Cheers

Aunt Bessies are the best granules that I've used

Aunt B's granules with mustard Gravy, roasted lamb leg steaks, mashed potato, chantanay carrots, cauliflower cheese, superb! Best quick Gravy recipe ever! Sticky toffee pudding and custard.

I'm going to put so much weight on over here, nearly every food establishment is BBQ/pizza/burgers etc. Haven't had the gravy yet, but I'll soon be having 'Poutine'. French fries with gravy and cheese curds. It's the national dish apparently.

Kill the heretic !!

Mustard gravy with lamb ??

Try replacing the mustard with a teaspoon of ready made mint sauce, or a teaspoon of redcurrant jelly , if you must have instant gravy with your lamb.

There is only one other more vile thing than red currant and that is cranberry! The mustard doesnt taste like mustard Gravy, it adds richness, try it!

We have mustard gravy with beef, using either English mustard ( made from powder of course) , or with French a l'ancienne (Grain mustard) The amount of mustard we use defines whether you can taste it.

But we never have mustard gravy with lamb. It's heresy!
