Delighted to say early fears for the seriousness of the injury were not confirmed and he will be back soon, already in light training.

And yet again we need the stretcher out and it's a factor in Buxton winning at Hurst Cross - if we can keep 11 fit players on the pitch we'll beat you; be interesting to see your video of the game Mark, assuming you've captured the first and last goals... the two biggest talking points. Doubt your angle will show that the 'goal' that would have made it 1-1 was unfairly ruled out as the ball never went out of play - the same liner that couldn't see Hardy 5 yards offside could see 80 yards through the netting and two players to spot that the ball was "out of play" before Ashton rolled it into an open net, with Budtz embarrassed.

Also, the lad who's injury this thread was originally about tried making a comeback at Sutton on Saturday, came on as sub and did one run before his knee gave under a nothing challenge - out for a few more weeks, more even than our debutant keeper at a guess.
