A fantastic 3 - 0 win over Hednesford this afternoon means we are safe from relegation. A great afternoon at a sunny but windy MTA. The Mariners played their socks off against a half hearted Hednesford side. Off to Skem on Monday, with our Committee paying for 10 places on the Supporters Coach, and one of the Players paying for the remaining seats! That's the spirit of None League for you!

Onwards and Upwards!

Spenny have been $hite for the last 3 or 4 games now. Pi$$ poor performance again yesterday and a bad goal to concede. Not good enough

Workington the dark horses now, making their claim at the right time. Spenny possibly wobbling at the wrong time too.
Play offs going to be interesting thats for sure. No doubt I'll pop along to see a Spenny home game again.

Spennymoor, one defeat in the last ten, absolutely awful form. Obviously need to sack the chairman, manager and all the players!

Tough game at Nantwich for Workington but then Ilkeston is 3 points and they should be to strong for Sutton who looked nothing on Saturday, even with the advantage that awful artificial surface gives them.

Don't write of Grantham, about one defeat since last November. Probably the team of the season as I would guess they do not have a very big budget at all.

Whitby have a tough game at Blyth but no defeats in the last ten so I am sure they will be confident of claiming three points and then an awful Hednesford at home.

Pity Buxton and Matlock do not have three points more each, this afternoon could have been an incredible prospect but guess it is only local pride at stake now.

Did I say awful form? No I didn't! However you have dropped a few points in the last few games whereas Workington are on a roll.

I was actually replying, tongue in cheek, to the above post so calm down, relax and wind your neck in.

Wind my neck in? It's an online forum - Everyone's free to express their opinions. And mine is that we have been poor the last few games and lucky to grind out a result at all. Moron

Great effort by the Blyth fans on Saturday, plenty of them and most came in Mexican fancy dress. Two draws with the champs this year, should have had a last minute penalty at theirs, got one at ours... and missed it.
