The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League will seek reassurances from Ilkeston FC on fulfilling the club's remaining games after their failure to play at Workington on Saturday in the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Premier Division.

They will be sought in the interests of member clubs and the competition's integrity after Ilkeston FC asked for their EVO-STIK NPL Premier Division fixture at Borough Park to be postponed on Saturday morning after confirming they were unable to field a side in Cumbria.

The Robins, who have seven remaining fixtures of the 2016-17 season to play, apologised for the disruption caused and no further statement will be made by the EVO-STIK NPL on this matter at this time.

Not quite sure all Notts/Derbys have scab blood. I'm sure sticking to the fact would help support your point. Instead it comes across as you've got an agenda. Warped by something that happened 33 years ago. Let it go, Martin Luther King Junior once said 'I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear'. :)

As far as the strike goes never forgive or forget the Notts Scabs but football wise its a shame whats happened especially to the fans and volunteers who support and give up their time to help out .

FWIW the fans are fully behind the players on this.

Non payment of wages is just one of the many many things the owner has done.

Yes, according to a guy I was speaking to last home game, and before this happened, apparently a similar sinario happen at Runcorn? They went bust, and then reformed as we know them now. Sad state of affairs. I feel for Skem as well, another case of how a club is going to get back to this level, I do not know. You can't expect players to play for nothing. They give their time up, whilst often holding down full time jobs. They deserve to be paid for their time on the pitch, and sometimes many hours traveling to and from games on a Tuesday night and much needed family time on a Saturday weekend day.

However, the Ilkeston situation, and how the LMC view it, could be the saving grace for Frickers again!

Ilson are going down anyway. The only team that'll be hoping for a reprieve is Goole in the NPL1N & that'll be if Ilson go pop for the 2nd time or resign and drop down to the MFL or EMCL

Not wishing it on Ilson fans in any way, but Runcorn's last game before going bust was at Hurst Cross against Ashton... last game of the season for us is at Hurst Cross... against Ilkeston.

You're obviously not up with the league rules.
Rule 174D, subsection 23F, appendix 96, clearly states;
In the event of Frickley Athletic finishing in a relegation position, any club failing to fulfill their fixtures will automatically transfer their current league position to said Frickley Athletic. If at the time of their demise that club was below Frickley in the table (not very likely) then Frickley will be allowed to borrow the required number of points to take them 1 place above the relegation zone. If the club going bust do not play in the Sticky league then there will be a reshuffle of the entire pyramid in order for Frickey to be reprieved.

I don't think even the mighty Blues can get out of this one, I'm afraid.

If Ilkeston couldn't get a team to travel to Workington on a Saturday, I can't see them getting one to travel mid week now.

Also, I didn't think clubs could register any more players for the rest of the season, so they will have to go with the players signed on now.
