a valuable win for halesowen today over a gutless frickley should make them favourites over frickley to stay up.
i really fear my boys could be departing this division at long last, but every cloud has a silver lining, we should have more local games to travel to.

Well, I must say that when I saw Halesowen on the very first day of the season I said I thought they'd have to do better not to go down; and I wasn't much more impressed in the away game, when Buxton beat them after going down to ten men.
(Buxton I mean, not their opposition, for once this season!)

'Long trip on a Tuesday night'. I have been told more than once that Halesowen have flatly refused to accept some distant fixtures midweek, for example that that is why Buxton are now going to Workington on a Tuesday instead of Halesowen going.
Wonder if anyone knows whether that rumour is true?
Obviously it is difficult, but this is the Northern Premier League, and I can't think of a club that hasn't had to make long trips midweek.

Although they have games in hand, I agree that the Yeltz are vulnerable. Corby seem to have turned a corner, and Frickley always seem to slither out of it, sorry, produce convincing Houdini acts  :D and have had some good results recently. Personally I hope not, as I like their ground, and it's so easy for me to get to from Surrey.
(see above)

We are worst off then them and we have had to go to Blyth,Whitby in midweek and thanks to poor weather and our poor floodlights we have got to go to Workington,Buxton and spendapennymoor inside 6 days.

I hope frickley and marine stop up and Halesowen go down now with us.
