What did you think to your staff not letting Frickley fans into the bar at the end of the game yesterday?

Was the main reason because you got beat by us?

Maybe they're all still locked in their clubhouse - no-one has told them that the nasty Frickley boys have gone home

I've never known fans not allowed into the social club due to the result.

Perhaps it may have been more to do with one of the 10 Frickley fans who had had a skinful who thought it was a good idea to go on the pitch after the first penalty....?

I'm sure that cc will be able shed some light on this.

If this was a club with a large support I'd probably take this thread seriously but when you're talking about shutting the club cos of 10 Frickley fans out of 600+ spectators, I find it hard to believe.

What did they do? Ask you to fill in a Lancashire based questionnaire to gain entrance?

If a frickley fan went on the pitch im assuming he was ejected then or is it all being made up, you obviously take it serious or you wouldnt be on here commenting optomystik

Frickley fans refused entry due to being drunk apparently not due to the result.

Now let's move on.

Eeeee what's happening to non-league football when you can't turn-up to the clubhouse off your face.

I only jest so much because it looks so petty from the outside looking in.

Only just seen this,...

From our director

Quote:
"A small minority of away fans had had what we could politely describe as a good day, but this needed to come to an end after the game, nothing to do with the result as was being suggested purely the fact they wouldnt do as they'd been asked to do from before the start of the game.
Ken (Chorley Chairman) had words with them prior to kick off & I had to ask them to calm down inside the club on several occasions, needless to say the demon drink was involved and I would hope the individuals involved would be at least slightly embarrassed by their behaviour once they had sobered up."

I saw about 8-10 Frickley fans giving it large to a group of elderly Chorley fans (who incidentally gave it back, good on 'em!) just after the first half, and we're just loud in the club. Surprised from Frickley in fact, thought the majority of their fans we're gracious in victory and this was a minority incident. But let's move on, it's not as bad as the press has made it.

I was there and I can say that I drove to the game and didn't have a drop of 'drink" at all, but yet I wasn't alond in the clubhouse. So to suggest that it was because of 'drunken behaviour' is rubbish. There was no trouble from us at all, or even any Chorley fans towards us! We were even in the bar before the game and at Half time, so why not full time?

I'm also going to give Karl Rose (Frickley manger), 100% full credit to him for backing us Frickley fans by telling the players no to go into the bar also after the game. Yes we told him not to do it, but I just think it was totally disrespectful to us fans us not letting us in the bar after the game.

Chorleyclaret, I used to think that Chorley FC had a bit more about them, but after last Saturday, you lot have got nothing about you now.

A bar manager is allowed to refused entry to people if they are intoxicated and if Ken has barred them they have to cause he is the chairman and what he says goes.
Also I would believe it would be down to safety of not only other fans but the drunk fans in order to make sure they don't get hurt. Also a publican (Bar/pub manager) can have their liancses revoked if anything happened to someone who had been drinking in that place. I am led to believe.
Have a good season

What about me? I wasn't intoxicated, yet I was refused entry into the bar! In fact I had a bottle of Luczoade in my hand! Did you staff think it was full of alcohol? Will us fans be refused entry again at the end of the game when we come back In the league, or are you going to wait and see what the result I'd first?
