Strange today, a wee like consistency was the gravy served up by Matlock today, tasted alright just was a tad watery.

I'd be interested as to what peoples favourite pies are??? Mine is meat and potato!!!

Pies were much better at Marine this season, peas and mint sauce to boot aswell. Fair price at £2.

Glad you were a satisfied customer Cc, makes a change for Marine to get a good food report! Was there any Gravy? Have pm'd you btw.

I had 2, yes, TWO, pie, peas and gravy!

First was a lovely meat and potato covered in the peas and gravy and then I went for seconds which was a just as good steak pie.

Have to admit, at Burscough last season I had 2 pies, as they were very good. One was meat and potato and the other was cheese and onion.

Also, at Worksop last season we went for a pre-game carvery, however we missed the time slot and had to order off the menu. I had a trio of pies and mash :D

Not sure where you got the £5 total Paul. I know pie and gravy is £2.50 as I had one myself.

I had meat & potato pie, peas and gravy. I had steak pie, peas and gravy. £2.50 + £2.50 = £5 total, as I said.

Q.E.D.

I hope you are not an accountant :)

Thank you FCUM for kindly stepping aside and allowing BPA to join us in the Conference North. A welcome return to their excellent chips and gravy (plus pie of course). I love the food at the Avenue. I too would have gone back for second helpings but the queue from 2pm was 100 deep all the way through to mid way into the 2nd half.

No pies available at Marine until halftime - fobbed of with a dodgy hotdog instead FFS!

Also, no sign of any gravy.......

You must've queued up at the wrong stall Optomystic, plenty of pies on offer before the game AND gravy. Just ask me and Jue!
