Cumbrians. Pah. That's why we keep you all up there, in your little corner. So you can pour meat juices on fish. Must be a Sellafield thing.

Steady chap from near Norway, we are Kendal......not West Cumbria inbreds. Nice steak and chips this evening at The Gilpin Bridge Hotel (on the road from Kendal to said shithole Barrow)

For once I didn't need a sauce, the steak was succulent. Mushrooms and onion rings etc were cooked to perfection....it was grand.

We have eaten there, although it was about just over 12 months ago, (en route to a wedding) the meal was $hite it was cold, the steak looked like it had been boiled instead of grilled, we deffo didn't enjoy!

Off out to a Greek Restaurant tomorrow night in the City Centre, not that familiar with Greek food, can anyone give advice? Please dont say Moussaka because I stand Aubergines!

Feta cheese, pita bread, olives. Throw in the grilled chicken and an octopus and you've got Greek food.
