I genuinely didn't even know Fylde had a football club until about 3 weeks ago.

Then again looking at their crowds from last season it seems neither did most of Fylde!

I'm only having a laugh anyway, sorry lads for clotting up the thread with my rubbish.

Winners: FCUM
Playoffs: Chorley, Hednesford, us, Marine
Relagated: don't know
Suprise: witton
Underachieve: don't know.

I'll try not to spout my rubbish in future, I just get a bit carried away. I'm looking forward to the season and would be very happy to be top 5. Looking forward to going to some different ground as well.

Peace

Some posters have gone for Matlock, as under achievers, Matlock have not achieved anything for years so that is a very safe bet!

Edit: Didnt realise it was Thursday today, going away on Saturday so my list is complete:

Who will win the League: Hednsfud
Who will be in the play offs: Blyth, Chorley, Fylde, FCUM
Who will win the play off place: Blyth or Fylde
Who will be relegated: SPS/ Frickers (sorry guys)
Suprise Package: Grantham
Under Achievers: North Ferriby United

As of above, I'm away for a week now in Malta (Sshh!! dont tell Cc whatever you do, he doesnt like me going away on holiday!!) from tomorrow with the kids on half term, think Heds wil be a strong big team next season, Rob Smith got it right at Telford, and has been saying to the press this week that is fantastic signings have not cost him a penny, think they are deffo a contender for promotion. Think it is a case of watch this space. 2 dog fight for champions.

Would be surprised now if Hednesford could repeat last season efforts, reading the non-league paper today, they have lost their best 2 players imo for next season. Cheyenne Dunkley has gone to Kidderminster Harriers and Chris Clements to Mansfield Town. Those 2 players will be big losses, but good to see those 2 progressing up the league's.

Both had been on trial at Championship clubs over the past few months, so it is no big surprise that they have moved on. Clements needed to move on if he wants to make it to the upper levels of the professional game and Mansfield will prove to be a good move for him.

We have so far signed Aaron Rey and Neil Harvey from Marine and Michael Lennon and Dave McPherson from Nantwich. The former three appear to be rated highly, the latter has played for us before, and will be a good replacement for Jay Denny who is moving on.

We have kept hold of the best of our younger players in Darren Campion, Elliott Durrell, Ben Bailey and Jamey Osborne and goalkeeper Dan Crane, alongside re-signing Alex Melbourne from Rushall Olympic.

We still need to sign a few more midfielders and defenders before we know where we are, but Rob Smith seems to be pulling together a decent team.

My predictions:

Champions: FCUM
Play-Offs: Chorley, Fylde, Ilkeston, Hednesford
Relegated: Rushall, Whitby, Stocksbridge & Frickley
Underachievers: Worksop
Suprise Package: NFU

Sad wanting another club to go bust.

Whitby have lost their two main strikers so relegation wouldn't be a huge shock.

Think yourself lucky, we have lost basically the whole team, barring one confirmed player from last season's team, that's because we had an option of another year's contract on him.. :(
