Fantastic Result for us last night. Showed the value of our squad with no fewer than 11 unavailable. Defensively outstanding in the first half where seaham put us under a great deal of pressure. Joe Barwick put us in front against the run of play to boost our confidence going into the second half. The second half we got our heads down and went at Seaham in the way they had come at us in the first half and were rewarded with a second from the penalty spot after Tony Smith was pulled over in the box. All in all it was a typical cup game in which we deservedly went through due to some superb defending in the first half , our midfield dominated the second half which swung it our way.

Well done lads.

A superb win against a good team. We had to dig really deep at times and the lads battled incredibly hard, particularly first half hour when we had to defend for long periods. Great discipline not to make mistakes or switch off, and then we caught them on the break for the first goal. Credit to the lads, we had loads missing, 5 or 6 of whom would expect to be in out best 11. 3 or 4 of the lads last night have barely had any minutes at all this season so it was a big shift from them. Need to take that desire and intensity into Saturday v Washington
