Although they'll put the attendance at about 200

I am rather surprised at the reported gates for this season.

Given that the travelling time from Northwich to Urmston is only about ten or fifteen minutes less than the trip to Stafford and also given that Northwich's proper club wasn't yet up and running, their lowest attendance this season is 33% higher than their highest of last season.

It does make you wonder where the increase over last season (90 avge. last season, 163 this) has come from especially as between two hundred and fifty and three hundred from the club's original support are now watching 1874 Northwich every week. Possibly from increased away support?

The match against Trafford wasn't particularly well supported (86), I suppose it was the Doodson Cup, but most there were Trafford fans.

Will let you know my estimate on Wednesday, see what it is like against the official

Ohhh, the 200 hundred attendances (including 175 Ghosts)

Putting them into context, when they played Winsford the other week there were 20 Vics fans, that's for their closest game to Northwich in the last 20 Months! That really says it all about the attendances Mr Rushe claims to get, but lets not go in to why he does it....

I'll make a point of counting when we play there at the end of January.

It shouldn't take long as we only take a dozen or so away these days.

I was surprised when I heard it was officially 131.

Didn't seem as many there as the Trafford game. Next time I go, it'll have to be a walk round and count

Not a bad match.

Defences on top, last ball was missing from both sides.

Great reaction to finish for the only goal. Leamington's winger put in a great ball, Moore's header hit the post and as it bounced up he reacted from 6 yds for a spectacular volley.

That said I was talking to a Leamington fan when Vics had a stonewall penalty claim. For reasons best known to himself as a ball was running out, the Brakes keeper pushed over a forward, can only think the ref didn't see it, one of the most obvious I have ever seen.

Good luck Leamington
