Any opinions on our best striking partnership, it seems to change from game to game, surely this must make it difficult to form any understanding between the front two if it's constantly changing. For me on what I've seen so far it's Anderson & Mitchell but we havn't yet seen Aaron given a striking role apart from the odd half game so can't comment on him in the striking equation. Got to pick your best two & give them at least 5 games to strike up some sort of understanding.

I agree, with your post. Arron should be given a chance, he did really well towards the end of last season picking up quite a few MoM awards, young player of the year award and scoring a few important goals.

Can't understand why he hasn't played up front this season, when he has played he seems to have played out of position.

The forward line up should have been sorted in the pre-season run up. Things don't seem to be happening up front so changes need to be made. Maybe we should give Col and Arron both an opportunity.

The team overall changes far too much, not sure what the strongest side will be at all

Looked like Chilli and Mitchell were forming a partnership, but they are similar players and when played together seem to lack pace. I though Aaron did will on the wide right against North Shields & Team North. but I havent seen enough of him this season, upfront to make a judgement. Perhaps Col for his pace, and chils for his finishing would be a good combination. I am more concerned with our inability to keep clean sheets than score goals :!:

I think the lack if clean sheets is mainly due to the midfield , don't think the back 4 get much protection, for me col and chilly up top would be best

Partly agree with that, hopefully Winters height will help, and we have only conceeded 2 goals in the last 2 games since he returned, and thats against first division opposition :D

After last night it would be hard to argue against Chilly and Anderson, they worked fantastically together for the second goal

Agree with Wack. Defo Col And Chilli upfront. We need more ball winners and that might be why we are conceeding too many goals. With Butts & Smirth back this may be remedied. Cols quite some player and seems to create chances out of sheer force of will and at 25 may not be that bothered about trying his hand at a higher standard, which is good for us.

Dont know if the combination of Col and wingers works ?
