Town are on an unbeaten run of SIX games in the league and have a home game on Saturday when the visitors are Brandon from rural Durham

On Monday Town had a local derby against Darlington RA when the team did not perform to their usual standards and still won 2-1 to remain top of the League. "Several players picked up knocks on Monday and are due to have treatment in midweek from the physio. Being on an unbeaten run means that everyone's keen to play in the next game and keep a hold on the shirt" manager Darren Trotter remarked.

"Football these days is a squad game and nobody will be risked who is less than 100%" the manager concluded. A full squad is expected to be available on Saturday and will involve a selection dilemma for the manager.

Tom Dawson has grown in stature and confidence since being recruited from Bishop Auckland and is certain to continue in goal. Most other outfield positions have been occupied by the same players for the winning sequence but fitness tests on the day may cause the manager to "tinker" with the team but he emphasised everyone is expected to be fit and desperate to play.
