Following the departure of Stephen Skinner to West Auckland, Northallerton Town FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Assistant Manager Danny Mellanby to the post of Manager.
Danny joined the Club in September as Assistant Manager and has been a hit with players, supporters, and committee alike.
Danny brings a wealth of experience with him both as a player & coach. He has played in the professional game with Darlington, and in the first division of the Northern League with Bishop Auckland & Newton Aycliffe in a long and successful career.
We wish him every success.

Peter Young (Chairman, Northallerton Town FC)

He is certainly the players choice, don't think the supporters will be to disappointed either. I wish Stephen Skinner all the best at West. I am aware he was offered a fantastic deal .

Very suprised that Paul Burton wasnt given the job. I know he was deffinately interested and would have been just what the club needed to move forward. Anyway good luck to Danny Mellanby.

No doubt about it, Paul is a popular figure at the Club, and did well last time he was here. Who knows what the future holds :D
