Replay Tue, 7-30 kick off.

Thought we matched our first div oposition yesterday, although overall it was a poor game. Their keeper looks excellent, although neither team created much. Thought a draw was a fair result. Lets hope our excellent away form takes us into the next round.

Is there any doubt about the game tonight, certainly a lot of rain down here?

Excellent performance last night, certainly think we matched Consett over 210 mins. Again we were slow of the blocks just like Sat, and again we gave them a one goal lead. Second half we were the better team, their handling of set pieces left a lot to be desired. Grant, Grezza and Emmo all going very close, and there keeper made some fantastic saves (their man of the match for me). Really though we had won it when Winter (I think) headed from the corner in the last minute, only for their keeper to make a world class save. Consett then went down the other end and scored with virtually the last kick. Well played Town, that game and Guisborough earlier in the season shows we can compete with Div 1 teams.

Just pleased you had emmo playing up front for the 2 games couldn't hit a barn door and he'll get plenty of practice at that down there. Also don't get carried away it takes more than just a couple of games against 2 poor sides to say you'll compete in the 1st divison as it is very strong. If Consett had been any good at defending set peices you woundn't of had a look in.

Ooops and I thought Emmo was the 2nd Div 2nd top scorer.
Tell you where we do compete, support, official attendance 89, we get more at friendly games

And if the officials had done their job correctly in the first game then you wouldn't have had a second bite of the cherry. Besides which, surely set-pieces are part of the game!!! And Wack is right, your support, despite being good people, is dismal and the volume laughable.

Ooooooops think you'll find he's 3rd top scorer behind the two lads from ryhope. But how were supposed to know your only a Northallerton super supporter  Besides which I've heard my 80 year old grandad could score in the second diviison this season. I think you've actually got one playing in chillingsworth and he's scored almost as many as emmo.

Your right if the officals had done there job correctly we wouldn't need a second bite of the cherry because the goal we scored when the ref stopped play when your man was down in your box should of stood. besides which can't believe you finished either game with eleven men because you kicked anything above grass level.

So if that had happened to your team, what would you have said?

Crank.

Just going back to the attendance figures Northalertons 150 wasn't that great for a vase match on a sunny saturday afternoon which you can't really compare to a wet, cold tuesday night game when you only brought 8 supporters yourselves and england were 'supposed' to be playing live on tv.

Also you'll find that Consett have had triple figures for all of there home games this season which Northalerton can't really boast too. And the volume levels well if not for the 8 or 10 supporters that you have that rant on there wouldn't of been that much noise on saturday because the rest your home support were very quiet.

Thankyou and good night :D
