Fantastic report very professional, but looking at the Crook team seems like they had several players missing, they would definitely miss the prolific scoring of Warren Byrne and midfielder Richard Hodgson to name but two.Can anyone shed any light why these and others were missing, because if Crook are going to be so-called contenders this year they need a full strengh team out because there are loads of underated teams in this league.

Yes we had 6 out and to be honest when i saw the team sheet i thought we would struggle. As you know your place is one of our bogey grounds along with Whickam.
Our players were missing through weddings, holidays etc, our main 3 in my eyes who were missing were Warren Byrne and Chris Louther who i think are the best strike force in Division 2 and both have been on fire pre season, also Richard Hodgson who was a massive miss yesterday.
Yes we were under the cosh for quite a bit plus going down to 10 men didnt help we still had quite a few great chances to win it ourselves in the second half, your keeper pulled some very good saves off.
In the end with the team we had out we are very happy to of come away with a point from a ground we usually get nothing. I was talking to a few of the locals and they thought that was a good chance to beat us with the players we had missing.
I think you need to tighten right up at the back or you can forget about the top 3, Byrne and Louther would of had a field day yesterday if they played, so in a way we both got an unlikely point.
Still a good day was had by all from Crook, also have you lost a bit of your support behind the goal? there used to be a load singing and air horns blasting, there didnt seem to be many yesterday.
one of my mates counted 88 in the ground thats quite poor for Northallerton usually well over a 100 in your ground, plus there was a few who travelled from Crook.
I still fancy Northallerton to be one of the 6 or 7 chasing them top 3 spots come April.

BARCELONA 2 CROOK TOWN 4 - HONEST!! :D

I counted 93 and thats what has gone down as official attendance, not easy when people are moving around but not far away if one of your fans counted 88. I can think of at least 12 regular supporters who were missing due to holidays, weddings etc. and most of them would have been behind the goal singing. We also had a couple of players missing.

Playing against 10 men, 6 of theirs missing including 2 goal scorers and a good mid-fielder, still concede 3, 2 goal lead let go. Crowd down, Pie was good though.

You were never leading by 2, you were 1-0 up then 2-1 down, then 3-2 up. It was end to end though. :D

I stand corrected, it just looked like we were two goals better than you at a certain stage of the game.
