Formally tabled merger with Wearside League I understand Colin. I could be wrong though.

As you and I both know- it is highly unlikely due to personalities. Perhaps some teams will migrate to Wearside League as the step seven leagues feed into the Northern League to replace teams promoted from the Northern League under the compulsory regulations...

One of the main objectors is gone. TBH i think another stumbling block is the Wearside clubs would never vote to put in relegation as part of the merger. to comfortable to risk going down a peg. The FA should make it compulsory up and down. If a team hasn't the criteria to go up then help them by paying for improvements . Not enough spent on clubs in real need.
