For new teams every little helps:

The Grow the Game scheme is back with grants of £1500 available to support the creation of new grassroots football teams. We can help to pay the start up costs for:
• New kit • Pitch fees • Facility hire • Coaching
• First aid courses • Affiliation fees and much more
Since Grow the Game was started six years ago, 2,311 grants worth more than £8m have been awarded and bringing over 150,000 new players into our national game. So don't miss out this year when Under-14 to adult men, women, girls and disability teams are a priority.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 29 March.

There are promising noises coming out of Horden about this. Lots of enthusiasm to get a Saturday team back in the town after Horden CW's problems of late. For more info (and a link to their crowd-funding campaign, if you're feeling flush!), check out my blog at http://bit.ly/2kXD4AI

Oops! Yes, you're right. My mistake. Will get it corrected. Thanks.
