Good opportunity to break in to the play-offs on Tuesday. It's so tight up there at the moment that even Chorley are starting to look catchable.

Men against boys tonight at the Deva, we were never under any pressure all night. Ashton look a side that will be relegation threatened all season. This loan signing we've recently made, Mani, looks a real player and I hope we utilise his services while we have him. It felt a little bit like the good old days tonight I'd almost say.

Chorley drop points again and although they have a game in hand still on everyone except us, they've effectively been caught and it's not even November yet.

Wide open at the top.
