I didn't go so I shouldn't say too much.

I referred to defensive frailties earlier in the week and it may have seemed a bit odd given we'd just kept two clean sheets. The warning signs were there and we've been exposed today.

Hopefully it's a freak one-off result, the next few games will tell us.

Someone on twitter rightly spotted the flaw in the Chester boss' interview about how you never get penalties at Blyth- he can't even remember last season! https://salfordcityfc.co.uk/matches/bly ... ford-city/

Incredible result, followed on Mixlr, I hadn't realised Chester were FT until I went to see some reaction on their side. Although apparently Blyth are just a team that 'normally lumps it' and were 'in the EBAC league a few years ago' (that would be 24 years ago.....).

If you turn up just expecting to win at this level you usually come a cropper- just as we found against the otherwise rock-bottom NFU twice last season, and those six points dropped cost us a place in the playoffs.

I look forward to Blyth Spirit's traditional trawling of the record books. Let's hope we can use today's score to get a bit of momentum into the season.

I'm just trying to see the positives.

I'll let you know when I think of them.

Defend how we did on Saturday and it'll simply be a question of how many.

Hoping to see a big reaction tomorrow against Kiddy. I'm confident the managers will deliver it.

why cancel your game against Kiddy, seen photos of damage, couple of ceiling tiles, little more.....or is there a lot more to it than is being let out of the bag?

Everything that has been let out of the bag fully explains why it's been cancelled. The main issue is no electrics. No electric means no CCTV or PA. No CCTV or PA means no game.
