A vital win against a very poor Hartlepool with Neil Young's last game in charge.
A bit of luck for the first goal-haven't had much lately-set the win up.
Most other results went our way.

To stay up would be a massive success. Not sure what the fans expectancy is, but to me that's good progress for you

Fifth from bottom will do nicely. Really don't want to go down to the North with it being an utter bitch to get of.
Worried about next season either way.

You'll be ok mate. I know what u mean about next season mind. Its why im certain relegation is best for us. If by some miracle we had stayed up this year, we'd be certainties to finish bottom the next.

you really need to be 'more than ready' when you go up. It's the type of league that will spit you back out. Fylde had a financial backing and a decent team. A late run into the playoffs in the north/south league then promotion could swiftly be followed by relegation which might have you in a worse off position then when you started

Fylde are exactly what makes it a dull division to be in.

You're right though, you'll quickly get found out if you dont have everything in place.

The biggest thing stopping us is the ground. Do you and Halifax both rent the ground from the council?

Yeah we have a lease agreement with the council who have owned it since it was built. Lucky really, you wouldnt have wanted certain previous owners getting their hands on it.

Yes FC Halifax T rent the ground from the council, no idea of the details though. It was low at the beginning of FCHT as the council thought we would have very low crowds (rent reduced at that level) which also caused a further rift with the RL club as they were paying more at the time.
Best not to own your ground too many shady characters about ready to exploit the situation, just look at what went on at Hereford.
