Sounds worrying and although its a lot of money, its an achieveable amount to raise in a few weeks.
Its not like we're talking millions.

Could well go pop. Their would be saviour examined their books and said no chance.
Losing £150,000 a month according to another forum.
Admin at best for them by the look of it.

We're in the same boat now clearly. Relegation is the least of our problems.

Really hope it doesn't come to that - I remember back to the Vaughan days, the crowds of 600, the inevitability that the club was going to fold at some point. When it did happen it was almost a sense of relief that it was over, no one even seemed particularly upset about it because you all knew it had been coming for so long - but then there was a real sense of fighting back with your destiny in your own hands. If it comes down to the club going into admin again, or worse still going bust, it would be an absolute tragedy this time around.

Best of British.

Cheers mate. Its so tough competing financially against these sugar daddy clubs. Many get awful crowds but their rich backer makes up the shortfall - which is hard to take often. Still, this situation should have been avoided, there's no excuse for not communicating the situation much earlier. The fans' response has been phenominal but as you say, we've been here before. It has to stop here should we survive.

Hope you guys sort things out, without knowing the full ins and outs of how you are financially managed it does sound like the club has been ran badly of late.

Cut the budget and get back on track seems the best way, it does seem if you don't have someone pumping in cash then it's a real struggle. Maybe relegation could be a good thing dropping back into a Northern division playing more part time teams but obviously never feels it.
