Very impressive run, it does seem as though he'd taken them as far as he could. Who's in the frame FC Utd fans?

To be honest, it's been coming a while now. Definitely not all about poor results although that doesn't help! Going to be very strange not having him around after all this time. However, as with other areas of the club over the last 2 years, there's now an opportunity to renew and get things on a firmer, more professional, footing.
Striker Tom Greaves has been handed a Player/Manager role for now and he is assured of a fantastic reception at home to Nuneaton on Saturday.
Longer-term, who knows? although peeps more in the know than me reckon there will be no shortage of applicants. Just got to choose the right one innit?
Onwards and, hopefully, sideways!

I see some fancy John Flanagan from Curzon, be a very good appointment if it did happen.

Done very well at Curzon on what you would think would be a lowed budget than FC Utd.

Going very well at the moment. Don't know much about him.

I always smile when folk go on about other clubs' budget. :) Curzon's will be very low if it's lower than ours!

why do FCUM have such a small budget? Is it to cover the stadium cost?

Yes. Debt, loans, interest.
We also have very high costs including wages for full-time employees.
I personally don't regard our playing budget as small for the level - more appropriate.
It's you other bu**ers chucking cash around willy nilly, at players that don't deserve it, that f**k it up for the rest!

It certainly seems there's a massive amount of cash this year.

I suppose the crowds have dwindled a bit, this won't help the £££
