Fantastic start by Halifax, was this in in any way expected?

As for us, we're probably going down.

Great result for Blyth 2-0 v Chorley . Only spoilt by a ref who thought that had to be centre of attention. First half both teams played some great entertaining football .Second half some of the Chorley players [not all] let themselves down by constantly surrounding the ref and it led to one of them needlessly getting sent off for dissent after his earlier yellow card .

No offence to Halifax, I was quite surprised when you went up, but to see you sat in 2nd is astonishing. Who have you signed since?

This is a shock to all Shaymen. Last season we were abysmal most of the time playing some utter dross but still came good at the end to win the play off lottery.
Heath started this season with same tactics as last and failed then changed tact with bringing back out of favour Morgan back in to be along side Denton and they suddenly clicked. Plus the two wingers Koslyo and Macdonald are on song at the moment. Defence have not conceded an away goal for eight games

Its just about the same squad that won the play off final with a few new players.

New
The best new signing has to be the goalie Sam Johnson was on loan end of last season.
Connor Oliver-new signing a regular
Ben Tomlinson-new signing mainly off the bench
Dion Charles -long term loan
Martin Riley injured
Michael Duckworth played but injured out for a while
