It used to be surprising when managers got sacked this early on but I dont really feel like it is so much nowadays. That said, in some circumstances it's arguably justifiable...

Barrow Manager Cox resigns seems over failed promises. Looks like Barrow's bankrolling has ended.

Another one bites the dust - Lockwood sacked from Guiseley.

Another club not doing as well since the bankrolling was reduced.

Sad but inevitible. Dependency on a rich bloke isn't sustainable forever.

To be honest, after Saturday's debacle I was convinced Macca would be next. It sounds as though he's pretty safe though.
