Forgetting Billingham Town 0-4 Spennymoor

Dominant performance in front of a decent crowd. New signings looking good

We've got our first tonight against Runcorn Town. Not sure what kind of team we'll field - we've got another friendly tomorrow!

Liam mate, sorry to quote you on this as my question is not overly relevant to the topic, but there seems to be a lack of threads regarding County Durham's finest Conference North club:

Obviously, Kallum Griffiths is, touch wood and all that, someone who rarely misses out on games. What a good player and wonderful servant over the years to the Moors he has been and still is. However, if it should occur that he for one reason or another would have to miss a match, who would step into the right-back position? Spenny do seem to be pretty well covered in every other position on the pitch.

I'm not sure to be honest mate. Sure I've seen James Curtis in RB before but don't quote me on that. Adam Mitchell is a right wing player too, so maybe he could slip back if absolutely necessary. Hope you are well though mate and that we see you at BF this season! :)

Two good wins for Spennymoor this week with a 4-0 win at Stockton on Tuesday and a 9-0 victory vs Pickering Town at Scarborough Rugby Club today. Things are looking good

Clever, mate. Absolutely, it does seem likely for Adam Mitchell to feature at right-back should Griffiths miss out.
Nowt I'd love more than to return this season, though with a missus now to look after, I'm not sure whether I'll be allowed to

Some scoreline yesterday. However, will Moors step into their inaugural Conference North season really knowing their true strength?

Bring her with you! ;) it was a good win but expected against a side like that. Wish we could've had some tougher opposition this pre season but I'm sure management have their reasons. We seem to be a bit hard to predict at the minute. I'd be happy with survival but others seem to think we could make the playoffs at a push. Think consolidation is the main goal though

Mitchell has been able to drop back to RB on occasion for us

I've no idea what sort of side Chester put out tonight, but they lost fairly comfortably to Altrincham.

I haven't enjoyed an Altrincham game that much for about 12 months. I haven't enjoyed an Altrincham match at all in 12 months, come to think of it.

The first half team was pretty strong with the likes of Turnbull, James and White starting. Second half it was largely trailists.

Witton away tonight, always enjoy my visits to Wincham Park.
