Only 600 tickets made available for the first leg at Salford. Truly TINPOT.
Good job we're not having to play a final there. Its just another Brackley set up- and they kicked Darlo out
What would have happened if it was Salford v Stockport final there would have 3000 plus not be able to see the final.
If your ground cannot cope with a large play off final crowd you should not be allowed in.

Who are we making as favourites for the North play-offs? Would be quite happy for Kiddy or 'Fax to come up. Indifferent (at best) toward the other two....

Kiddy were the only side of comparable quality to Fylde from what I saw this season, but Halifax seem to have been in form for a while. I wouldn't want to play Salford in a playoff match though either - those 2 managers have a decent record in them. So watch it be Chorley now

On a purely selfish note, I want Salford to go up, for a few reasons. A full time Salford next season in this league could very well be another Fylde, I really enjoyed the games at Halifax and Kiddy so wouldn't mind doing them again, and I don't really our games with Salford with the circus that it entails.

Anyway, best of luck to all 4 teams - just hope it's decided by who is the best side and not controversy.

Sorry mate, but what a load of rubbish you've posted. I generally like your posts, but this one I don't. I'm actually going to defend Salford here. Just because you have a decent away following doesn't mean that Salford are any other team should land themselves in debt because a few of your fans can't get in. I know it's probably frustrating as I don't doubt that you could probably sell double and more but these are the facts of this division.

I think that although I'm led to believe that your ground was what bankrupt you guys in the first place, you had a pretty good ground to use when you guys started again. Some clubs either start from basics, or start from scratch and I don't see why they should be penalised for it

I stick to what I wrote We will just have to disagree.

I missed the play off final v Brackley a few years ago unable to get a ticket because of limited away tickets. Brackley also reduced(just for the final) their capacity due to safety concerns which also made a mockery of their ground grading.
We have 900 plus season ticket holders. Hundreds of fans are missing out.

I will rescind what I said a little, as I don't understand why they've reduced from 3000 to 2100. I understand a reduction due to segregation but 900!?!?

They won't have that problem in the return leg. I've always liked going to the shay and if you ever get a big team there you would make a ton of cash

Shots V Tranmere tonight then on BT.

Really important Aldershot don't find themselves trailing after tonight. That said, their form heading in to these play-offs has been arguably the most convincing.

Quite a surprise to see Aldershot turned over so comfortably tonight.

I've found Aldershot's revival this season to be a bit odd. They were comfortably the worst opposition team seen at Alty in both our seasons in the National League.

So Tranmere advance to the final then. We'll find out tomorrow who joins them, FGR or the Daggers.

FC Halifax Town v Chorley FC in the North Play Off final at the Shay on Saturday.

FC Halifax T v Salford 2-2 agg score FC Halifax T win on pens 8) :D
Kidderminster v Chorley 1-2 agg score

Went to penalties at the Shay-after 1-1 AET with Shaymen coming through at the end.
Chorley won at Kidderminster 2-0.

Salford put a good performance in, could be another AFC Fylde next season when they go full time.
