Boston sack Drury

For the second time this season Boston have dismissed their manager as Drury now follows Jason Lee out of the door.

They've had a dreadful season for a club of their relative size and with talk of relegation just starting to crop up, there's no doubt they've been moving in the wrong direction since his appointment.

They won't go down of course, but another season of mediocrity next year will unsettle an agitated fanbase further.

They're a strange club, forever tainted by the circumstances of their promotion to the football league. Their fans themselves don't believe they belong any higher and neither do I.

If they can get their house in order and put a promotion chasing side together, there's no reason why they can't attract similar crowds to Halifax. They're only averaging a couple of hundred less. I think the BSP is their natural level, although it's hard to see them getting anywhere near the football league again any time soon.
