Here we are again then, another home game against Halifax Town. Since we reformed I've been really looking forward to playing them and now, two matches have come along within weeks of one another.

We were slightly lucky to emerge from the first encounter with three points but our squad looks slightly different now and form goes out of the window in cup games.

I can't wait and hopefully plenty of the Halifax mob will make the trip over to Chester.

COYB!

Tough game today, will gladly settle for replay. Both teams will be different from last time and both clicking. Cannot make it but I expect a good turnout for us.

I hear there's trouble coming from the Massivefax fans?

Yep, 20 or so ran on to the pitch and headed towards our home terrace. The ones who made it had a bit of handbags with a few of ours who came to the front of the stand to meet them.

Elsewhere, 3 Halifax fans managed to make it in to H Block and made their presence known about 20/25 mins in to the game. They were looking for trouble and needless to say they found it.

Pathetic really, don't often get scenes like that at the Deva.

Maybe someone needs to let the Halifax minority know that it's not the 1970/80s anymore - despite appearances to the contrary in their fair city

Halifax fans in crowd trouble? SURELY NOT?!

Was it the "Lancaster chavs" again attacking poor innocent Halifax fans who had to defend themselves? Or was it Halifax fans going to the home support and initiating violence AGAIN?

Poor Halifax. Why always them?

Halifax fans were excellent in their game at Trafford a few years back.
