Chester FC v FC Halifax 19:45

Would be happy with a point at Chester. St Juste is playing his best football since he signed for us, and Rainford cannot wait to play this match-he will probably come off the bench second half.

Very important game for both sides at the Deva this coming Wednesday as Chester look to keep pace with the other 100% starters and Halifax look to prevent the gap between us widening.

As two sides that have reformed in recent years it will also be a good advert for phoenix clubs. A good match viewed by a crowd hopefully in the region of around 3,500 two divisions below League level would show that there certainly is life after death. Should give hope to a few fans on NLZ who are currently going through something similar to Halifax & Chester.

Chester 2 Halifax 1 - attn 3,112

Halifax will feel very hard done by, I don't think anyone has put us under so much pressure as they did first half. If it was unbelievable that we went in a goal up then it was borderline miraculous when we made it 2-0. We hadn't created much by that point but what little we did make, we finished off. Halifax were left to rue poor finishing and brave defending by us.

The Shaymen scored a great goal to reduce their deficit back to one but after that, IMO, we looked more like scoring as we hit them on the break.

Anyway, still 3rd, still 100%. Come on City!!

Ive backed Massivefax for the league in a 5 fold so i hope they do pick up, looking at your forum it seems you've been playing well enough just not getting the results. Quite similar to us actually
