Well after conceding another poor goal we played easily our best football in the first half on the best surface i have played on, full credit to westoe.
Smarty was absolutely first class 1st half and it shows what type of a kid he is that he played tonight when he has at least 6 clubs chasing him and he put in 100 % and scored a great equaliser, the kid is a diamond and personally i hope he stays but only time will tell. 2nd half got a bit scrappy but then with two minutes to go Luke Wilson rattled in a superb winner to see us through,

Little mention to the officials, very impressed with all three, tried to let the game flow and did well,and also good luck to my big pal Hunter in goal for Westoe, pulled off a great save from my free kick and also pulled off two outstanding saves from free headers, good luck for the season.

Nice to get a win, now on to a very very tough game at Crook

Andy Hunter is a fantastic keeper, great lad and should easily be in the enl 1st div not the wearside like with all due respect.
