Thanks BP. I'll be interested in toonarmytaylor's views. Our lads thought our penalty award was a bit dubious? Anyway, best wishes to Railway for the rest of the season.

Steve their match report was spot on, really good competitive game that could of easliy went to extra time. Although I thought the longer the game went on we looked the fitter, knocking the ball aroung really well and creating chances.
The pen was one of those that was given but could of easliy not been given if you know what I mean?

Good luck to Shildon for the rest of the season.

Tails :D :D :D

was at the shildon v rutherford game was an entertaining game against two very evenly matched teams shildon with good 1st half chances and rutherford coming into it 2nd half themselves.however the penalty decision was an absolute joke no wonder players get p****d off.but in regeards to earlier comments no disrespect to rutherford but they are top of their league find it hard to see how marron can say it is of better standard.cos even rutherford officials cannot say they deserved to win normal time.as one of them pointed out to match official in the clubhouse?

Am i correct in saying that all the alliance sides went through beating the Durham alliance teams?! Rutherford went to Shildon and won, Chopwell and Hebburn won as well. Remember Maradona that this is the alliance first divison and not the premier as well. I don't know how many the Durham alliance have?!

Nice forum by the way.

won 2-1 mate 2 nil up after 18 mins and looked like it would finish 5 or 6 to be honest, credit to norton they never threw in the towel and in the second half they could of and should have drew level so we rode our luck but we aint complaining steve. Norton were well organised and really fit but in fairness we rested a few. quarters now so its going to get interesting now.

anyone know when the draw is?
