Our next game is a trip to Percy Main on Saturday 9 September

Percy Main have had a bit of a rough start to this season with just the one win so far, this coming at the International Stadium when they beat Gateshead 4-1. Unfortunately for them though, they have lost their other games and last Saturday they exited the George Dobbins Cup to the hands of Divison One side Red Row Welfare.

We are enjoying football at the minute with 4 wins from our last 4 games so this has opened up a little gap in the league table, and last Saturday's win against AFC Newbiggin was particularly impressive.

Kick off is 2:30pm and Purvis Park is a great ground for local football, so why not get along to watch the game!

Percy Main 1-1 Rutherford

Couldn't make the game due to surgery so unfortunately I don't have many details.

We took the lead in the first half through Cam Nichol but the home side equalised late in the 2nd half.

However, it must be said that we've extended our unbeaten run to 6 games now and we're also improving our results from the corresponding fixtures from last season. Long may this continue!
