Our next home game is a toughie!

Killingworth Town travel to Farnacres and we welcome back ex-Ford keeper Rob MacGregor, who is assistant there.

Killingworth actually have the best defence in the league although it must be said they've played the least number of games. But they're sitting in a good position and are one of the favourites for the title. You have to go back to October to find their last league defeat although they dropped points in their last game which was a 3-3 draw at Walker Central.

We're in our own little mini-run at the moment as we've picked up 7 points from the last 12 available. This could have been more if it wasn't for Wallington's deflected 85th-minute equaliser last Saturday. But manager Mick Watson has a strong squad to choose from so hopefully we'll be ready for the challenge.

Kick off is 2:30pm and all are welcome. Free entry.

I missed the game so my details are a bit scratchy, but as always Killingworth Town have done a good match report if you need more info.

We fell behind on 20 mins and then Killingworth extended their lead on 40 mins. We pulled a goal back through David Boyle on 55 but then missed a glorious chance to pull level as we had a penalty saved. Killingworth then scored a penalty of their own before adding a 4th to take the points.

All the best to Killingworth who I feel will there or thereabouts come the end of the season, they've certainly got the talent and work rate it's just whether the amount of games they have left counts against them or not.
