Another decent performance put in, though again we let ourselves down defensively with punished errors.

We went ahead on 7 minutes with a great Will Forsyth strike then doubled the lead on 21 when Sam Moore hit his 8th keague goal of the season, but once again conceded immediately after poor defensive work. Jimmy Davidson made it 2 in 2 games to restore our two-goal advantage and we then hit the bar but again poor defending let the home side in within a few minutes. So in front at half time and we knew what Killingworth would throw at us in the second period, which duly came. Poor decision making at a break from our corner gave the hosts the opportunity to equalise which they duly took and then then went in front for the first and only time of the match with a disputed penalty - we are certainly not getting any breaks at the moment and our only luck appears to be bad luck!

Both sides created a number of chances as the game became stretched and 'Ford keeper Owen Little excelled in the second period though we went mightily close to grabbing a leveller as Station held on in the final few minutes. We are improving all the time and we are ready to turn the corner soon.

Station visit us next month so we can judge how far we've come when we host them at Farnacres.

Good set up at Killingworth and great to see my old mate Dunny again.
