It seems like only last week since Road ventured to Lancaster in the FA Cup.
Now they travel to Warrington who have been playing pretty good football lately.
Remember though, Road have been scoring a few themselves, allbeit seemingly with the Keegan attitude of "if they score 3 we'll score 4".
This is the oldest competition of it's kind on the planet.
I won't regale you of famous comments and scorelines thru the many years it has been running, but I think you know what I mean.
Anything, and I mean anything, can happen in this competition.
Road go to a team from a higher league, but today that counts for nothing. Results are not always guaranteed for the bigger side and Warrington will know this.
I wish Road management, staff, players and those souls who head off to Warrington in support all the very best today.
Enjoy the occasion, let the game be played in the true FA Cup spirit and may Road prevail to the next round!!
Good Luck MRFC.

Just gone a goal down in the last ten minutes.

Cheers for that Stech.
1-0 doesn't sound too bad, to a team as good as Warrington, sounds like Road acquitted themselves well in this one?.

The side played extremely well today John and I were extremely proud of the performance although the result could potentially have gone for us their goal in the 82 minute was a superb strike but everyone associated with the club shoud be proud of the team this evening

Sounds like you deserved more against a decent side.

Cheers Tommo.
Reads, and from other comments, seems like Road did very well in this one.
There is no shame going out to a higher league side who are doing well and unbeaten so far this season. All the staff and players deserve the plaudits given by supporters.
Well done, you done the club and supporters who followed you to Warrington and the others who maintain listening briefs proud.
PS. It was in the Sunday Times score section (sadly correct this time).
