Couldn't attend today, but notice Road won 2-1.

Quite surprised the game went ahead, we had tropical storms just a mile or two from the ground, and West Didsbury & Chorlton's game fell foul, as did a few other local ones.

Warrington Town away in the next round (who won 0-3 at Atherton LR), Saturday 8th September.

Good performance?

Good news on this win, heres to progression.

"The FA Cup, oldest cup competition in the world, nothing like it!"
John Motson and his sheepskin coat.
Ronnie Radford.
Do you remember a time in black and white, when David Coleman would pick out a couple of ticketless fans on Wembley way, and present them, live on grainy TV, tickets that had been given in by some who couldn't attend?

Gentlemen, match report on the website now for those who weren't fortunate enough to attend also we should have a video online later from Alex.

Yesterday won't eradicate the demons of the cup
final but hopefully this is the first step in heading down that path.

Again, thanks to the Video Maestro, and to Tommo for the report.
Reads and views like this team are getting on well with the job at hand.
Weather looked pretty heavy early on, but resilience on the field and a few colourful umbrellas on the sideline saw out the day.
This is a good win for MRFC and an excellent encounter in the next round against Warrington awaits.

Dead chuffed to find out the result. I was on holiday and missed the game. Good video.

Well played.
