I hope as a club we are really going to push this in the local press etc.

Its not so long ago Darlington were coming to The Great Border City to play at Brunton Park in league matches against CUFC and it is obvious that their stay in this league will be a very brief one.

There is no doubt that at this level (and probably the next couple of levels above us) this is a 'glamour' game and a healthy crowd will be expected.

Granted the majority of fans present will be Quakers however, there will be The Nation regulars and there are sure to be those who are intrigued because of who we are playing.

Even if 15-25 of any extra fans who come along for this match choose to become regular visitors to our matches then that would be wonderful for the club but they need to know the game is on in the first place!

To the powers that be - Make sure this game is well publicised locally, we might never have a better chance to present the Northern League experience and most importantly Celtic Nation F.C. to the local public and potential future fans!!!

Thank you for saying so. Getting more folk through the turnstiles is not an easy task but I hope the Darlo game is an opportunity to generate a bit more local interest in CNFC.

I dont have any real authority to give you a definitive answer as I am only a mere supporter! However, we do produce a matchday programme for any other league match. I think I heard somewhere that NL clubs can receive a fine if they dont produce one.

I am an avid collector of programmes myself and for the Darlo match I plan to get to the turnstiles early to make sure I get my hands on a copy as sometimes at this level only small numbers are printed.

Either that or you could possibly use the link below to the 'Contact' page of the official website to enquire if the club can put a copy to one side for you. Good luck!!
