Spennymoor's title charge continues after a 1-0 victory at Moore Lane Park. Well worth their win. Aycliffe now lost four on the bounce.

Interview with Spennymoor coach Brian Atkinson here: http://www.aycliffetoday.co.uk/2012/03/ ... ion-video/

Disappointing day for Aycliffe, but once more shows how far the club have come if everyone's disappointed with a defeat to Spenny!

Its great to see where Aycliffe are now (i remember them watching the last game at home against Annfield Plain in the Wearside League) and i really hope you stay in Division 1 for another few seasons - good luck to Aycliffe for the rest of the season!

Nice side Spenny !

having watched both home and away games this season, they are well worth their results. Organised composed and look like they always up for a game.

We have been beaten off some pure guff teams this season, even teams who are up their challenging have come to aycliffe and looked poor but still got a result!

But spenny are not one of them they desreved their win and certainly could have had a few more on another day.

Our form is really dropping off now, luckily a good few points on the board from early in the season but we have not looked good since christmas ! Hopefully warren can start to get his form back and the midfield can start getting involved.

Heres hoping to a strong end to the season

Great set up there on Saturday, friendly welcome. Al the best for the future and keep up the good work.

Let the girls know that the 'Bovril' was spot on and ranks very highly on our 'league table' of half time beverages. 8)
