Not trying to be confrontational or owt mate but could you not post this in the actual Results thread?

Although its a good service you supply so keep up the good work!

Regards the results thread I've noticed a trend with posters that only post when their team wins, yet you or yossi, me, dandy12 post win lose or draw

Its very good mind to get a full round up of the results, but put them in the right thread dale.

I have played sunday football for 25 years and last sunday morning was a dark day for me. i am currently suspended from playing (56 days for swearing at a referee) so i decided to go and watch the local derby between gilesgate moor and new durham wmc .the banter between these two teams have been going on for 3 seasons and finally it was on and everybody in the area was talking about the match.
i arrived at the school at around 10 25 only to find the gates still locked and a que of cars. i got out of the car and heard people say the crossbar had been stolen.my first reaction was that the scrap men had took it, but surely they wouldnt of of took just one crossbar. i have no doubt that this was a deliberate act to get the game called off for whatever reason.
the lads from gilesgate seemed pretty happy not to be playing whilst the new durham lads were gutted, so i will let you draw your own conclusions from that as i cant see anybody willing to embarrass themselves by admitting it.
a sad day for sunday football when one man decides the rest of yous are not having a game of football.
i am so pleased that i wasnt part the fiasco otherwise i think i might of been adding to my suspension (ha).
anyway thats my rant out of the way, and i hope new durham stuff them when gilesgate decide they have the balls to play the match
sad day for sunday football.

it's not really a sad day for Sunday football. Sunday football is full of incidents like this , it's just part and parcel of it. I can think of loads more ways of making sure the game doesn't go ahead ie just say you can't get a team out , which the league have allowed in the past so maybe not the other team might just be geniune

I agree Keith its not the first time and wont be the last time a crossbar is pinched or damaged on the eve of a game.
