Good competitive game and well run by the Ref who let the play flow. Lion`s quick one touch football won the day

Great result for us against a good team and a cracking set of lads

As you can imagine i have seen some howlers on a Sunday, but this was just beyond it, not knowing what was going to come next.

Had a bloke who is a member of the golf club next to me, who is a longstanding referee, now retired, and he was blowing a gasket about him.

Dont know how we marked him, but the decision that led to the 3rd goal for Consett, was as poor as i have ever seen, however being fair, the cricketers deserved to win.

Cant change history, time to regroup and get on with it..... :lol:
