Ian Gorman memorial trophy 1st round

Pot & Glass FC (formely Londonderry FC) 9-0 Oxbridge

I really enjoyed being the referee for this game as both sides were a credit to the league as they both behaved well.

Gateshead and District League 1 cup

Kibblesworth 1-8 Birtley Red Lion

Excellent performance from a very young Red Lion Side. Were in charge from the first whistle and ran out comfortable winners. First start of the season for striker Ollie Forsythe and he responded with a 5 goal blast and with a bit luck may have had another 3 or 4.

Consett League. Cup match not surewhich one.

Langley Park Steelers 7-0 Craghead Legion

this gamewas abandonded after 70 mins when one of the craghead players took in upon himself to start fighting with a team mate. the ref sent him off and when the player was walking from the field he then smacked another one of his team and knocked the poor lad out.

never seen anything like it ever !!!

it was plain crazy, i can understand lads getting frustrated when things are not going right for your team and having a little rant and rave at players but fighting with them is just plain stupid no wonder their lads didn't want to carry on with the game.

ps mick as our "director of football" you should have known it was the Iveston Bowl cup competition..
