Hetton Lyons v Brandon sports club
Can someone let me know the situation with calling games off as this one was called off around 6 tonight, should it not be the morning off the game. Only reason I'm asking is I know Hetton play on murtons ground which im assuming murton themselves played on in their alliance league game today.
I know Brandon's manager isn't to happy about it and rightly so and has contacted the league officials to get some clarification, but any feedback would be appreciated, and before anyone starts this is not having a pop at Hetton I would ask the same question regardless of the opponents.

For an unplayable pitch the only person who can call the game off is an affiliated Referee. Unless the pitch owners say that its unplayable and close it.
I think the only time that a Club can call off their own game is if they are unable to field a team, this is why our game is off tomorrow.

According to league rules, if it is a private ground (Murton?) and the owner declares it unplayable then the home team are required to find an alternative pitch (at their expense) or play the game on their opponents pitch.

So Hetton should be playing tomorrow, somewhere!
