i would imagine the game still has to be played as the points will still be up for grabs , and the biddick cant just be giving 3 points without playing.

Happens to most teams at some point , but the barley are a big and succsefull club and am sure baz will sort it out in time.

Will you have a team tonight?

Sorry not been able to post for a while. Anyway can anyone tell me what the crack is with the barley from lasttThursday night ? They could not field a team . Is the game awarded to the opposition ? Do barley get deducted 3 points and game still to be played? Nothing happens and game played at a later date?

Think we have to appear in front of league, have our knuckles rapped, pay a fine, and get deducted 3 points, dont know about game being replayed, might find out for tonight when we play you!!!!

3 games in and we are already thinking of it as a season on transition, got to get a buch of lads together who turn up every week.

In that respect we are not too different from many teams.

Maybe shouldnt keep signing lads from all over the north east and just hoping they turn up on the day? Just a thought.

Saw your message this morning, was playing in a golf competition yesterday afternoon, and went straight to football.

Maybe at our ground, in the reverse fixture, was that first goal a mis-kick??? :) :) :) :)

After countless cups and league titles, dont think its a strategy that has failed. Its just now lots of lads have work issues, there is a lack of slack at work, so getting half a shift off or whatever is an issue.

As for players, we all know who has been brown enveloping, promising jobs, and thus swallowing up most of the "better" players. We discussed last night who we had lost, and it comes to 3-4 players at least.

As for having a bunch of "young uns" playing, thats alright in a lower league, but near the top when they get their backsides kicked a few times, the excuses will quickly start, been there seen it, you only have to look at teams that have promoted as the next big thing.

Who mentioned " young uns " ? What was mentioned was players from all over the North East. As for winning Countless Cups and League Titles, in the past so did Glasgow Rangers, means nowt now. Losing 3-4 players, most teams lose a lot more than that, its called rebuilding it again. Maybe the days have gone when only one team payed " expenses " to attract all the players .Just a thought.
