It hardly matters anyway does it. sometimes clubs have no choice but to look further and if anything its just as difficult to assemble a squad with lads from surrounding areas who have to travel further. We've got a couple lads from Sunderland, and one or two from nearby shiney row etc but with a shed load of teams in Washington we have little choice other than to cast our net a bit more. Its great that teams have local lads from the village etc and i suppose it makes it more satisfying when you can be successful that way, but its not always practical.

Sorry to pi55 on your chips mate but I'm the one living at Trimdon, however I'm FROM Brandon, it just so happens I've moved over there now to live with someone....... Mind I'm more worried that you have access to certain peoples addresses :|

Sorry to pi55 on YOUR chips Browny but if you live in Trimdon then you are NOT from Brandon. Washy Jays are all very local to the club, very local.

Don't know what you've been smoking mate but it doesn't matter where you live, you're only ever from one place. By your logic while I'm away on holiday in Spain it must make me Spanish? Si?

Despite what has been said by another poster the members of the DDSL Management Committee DO NOT have access to any additional information regarding the home address of players over and above what is on the league website and can be seen by anyone. The implication that this information is freely available to members of the Management Committee is not accurate.

If the poster concerned has the information I don't know how he came about it, but it was certainly not as a result of being a former member of the Management Committee.

So Brownie says it doesnt matter where you live, you are only from one place?? mmmmm That means probably EVERY team has a local contingment. Maybe you should stop smoking the gear or ask for some good stuff. I lived in Washington 20 years ago but i live in seaham and play for a washington team, BUT im LOCAL. Maybe your original post was a bit of "" smoked too much tonight"" eh???
