Have Washington Victoria recruit well??
I heard that early signs from the Kelloe camp is that things are looking promising but it's only June so we'll see how they pan out this season.

i don't know who they've signed but they had a good side last season and i think they'll do ok, couple of my mates play for them and i think theyd get a game for most sides top 3 or 4 apart.

We've gone up with the Vic through the leagues so we know them very well. Dougie will be the first to admit (and I'm sure he'll pop up on here) that they need 3 or 4 quality players to finish in the top half. They have over the last few seasons got away with using a small squad, hopefully that will continue for them as that will defo help them.
I hope they do well but to break into the top half is a big ask for them and for Coxhoe who were also promoted. It'll be very interesting to see how they both pan out as in my opinion both these teams are better than other teams who have been promoted to the Prem over the last few seasons.

no battles mate, just been told by two kelloe lads one of which sent me a facebook message earlier in the summer buzzing cos he was signing for us then changed his mind say that they will be stronger than the lyons this season. i don't know the league well enough to argue with them last season was my first in ddsl, i respect both of their opinions so if they say there going to be stronger than i accept that. we'll just try our best as always and try to win every competition we enter if we don't do it we don't do it.

Thank you for the vote of confidence Mr Shaw :) Cam did ask Carlo along (long shot I know!) but I am led to believe that he has opted to join you at the Lyons, which i'm chuffed about for him personally and I think he can be a real success there. Shame for us personally of course but he's good enough to play for teams much better than ours.

I'm expecting the season to be a struggle to be honest. We have added a few, but until we start friendlies soon I cant tell yet whether they are an improvement, which is what we really need. Providing we stick together through thick and thin, then we may just about keep our heads above water.

Stevo im guessing you mean IW? I know how close he was to joining but he decided to stay with us last minute due to several factors, im sure this happens most seasons in football. Him along with the other 2 lads that you tried to sign have shown a lot of loyalty towards us by staying. Hopefully it ensures a very competitive season which I'm sure everybody wants mate.

Hetton comfortably, just too much strength in depth, the backlog of games they got through in the last few weeks of last season would have crippled any other team but they just kept on winning
